Hey there, gang! We’re back with another feature release this week. If you’re doing direct sales delivery through BookFunnel, you’re really going to like this one. And, if you’re not doing direct sales delivery through BookFunnel, what are you waiting for??
We built delivery actions so that authors could deliver their own book sales. We also wanted authors to be able to quickly throw together great discount offers for readers. Going around and discounting your book on every bookstore is time-consuming, especially for flash sales. By doing it yourself in your own store, you can easily offer discounts or coupons and then take them down with just a click or two. Easy peasy.
Except for one thing: multi-book discounts. Want to offer readers the first three books in your series for $2.99 just for one day? Sure you can! Just fire up Vellum or Scrivener or whatever you format books with and slap those three books together, and BOOM. Which is to say, not boom, because doing all of that is a real pain. The files can be huge, and combining books can wreck your formatting and table of contents. If you didn’t already have a boxset file ready to go, offering a flash deal was anything but quick.
Until now. Today, we’re announcing multi-book delivery actions! Now you can create a delivery action and specify any number of books you want BookFunnel to deliver when someone purchases an item. Want to send them the first three books of your series for $2.99? No problem! Make one item on your store and one delivery action in BookFunnel, and the reader gets all three books in one tidy little delivery email.
Want to offer your whole 10-book series for $10 just for the weekend to your superfans? Do it! Make some money off that backlist that’s not getting the same attention it used to. Your readers will love it, and best of all, you keep all of the profit.
With multi-book delivery actions, selling collections, bundles, and boxsets has never been easier. Don’t mess with formatting everything into one giant ebook. You don’t need to do that anymore. You can make it happen with just a few clicks.
