Welcome back to a new year, BFFs! Lots of goodies coming out of the BookFunnel labs in the next few weeks, and we’re starting off with two of the most-requested integrations.
Let me ask you something, dear indie. Are you tired of spending hundreds of dollars a month on your mailing list? Are you just starting your newsletter, and you’re confused by all of the bells and whistles available? Kissing up against that free subscriber limit and about to start paying a lot of money? We see you.
Fear not, intrepid (and budget-conscious) author. We’ve got you covered. Today we’re announcing integration with two simple, low-cost mailing list providers: Sendy and SendFox. If you haven’t heard of them, don’t worry. The names may be new to some of you, but they both have strong pedigrees.
Sendy
Sendy has been around a long time and is not actually a mailing service at all. Instead, it is a piece of software that you purchase one time and then host in the cloud for a very small monthly hosting fee.
The software manages your subscriber list and allows you to send your own emails through Amazon’s Simple Email Service at a very low cost. Which can be a big money saver when you consider how much some mailing list providers charge.
Sendy is more DIY that any other mailing list service, with initial setup that requires a can-do and can-google-it attitude! After that, it behaves very much like any other mailing list service you’re accustomed to.
SendFox
SendFox is a new player in the mailing list market, but they’re built and backed by a huge player: the makers of AppSumo and KingSumo. They’re just starting out, which means their service is lean on features, but also lean on complexity. With SendFox, you can add subscribers, set up simple automations, email subscribers, and… that’s about it. But, really, isn’t that all you actually need?
The best part? They’re currently offering a lifetime deal*: $50 for up to 5,000 subscribers. Yes, a lifetime deal. Pay $50 one time, and you can have up to 5,000 subscribers forever and send them as many emails as you want.
And, you can buy as many of those lifetime deals as you want and stack them up. Want to max yourself up to 25,000 subscribers because you plan to hit the big time? Buy 5 of those lifetime deals for a one-time $250, and you’re set. No more monthly fees, and no per-email costs.**
So, there you have it, BookFunnel fans. Two new options for low-cost email hosting, all nice and integrated with your BookFunnel account.
But, we’re not done yet. We have lots more cooking in the labs. Stay tuned.

**This reads a little salesly, so, just reiterating that BookFunnel has no affiliation with Sendfox or Sendy.
