Which means it wasn’t ideal for putting in the back of your book, because you’d really rather have that link go to your domain, right? And you couldn’t verify the domain on Facebook, which was a HUGE problem for authors using Facebook ads to boost sales and grow their mailing list. Which brings us to our happy news today…
Announcing BookFunnel Custom Domains
Now, instead of sending readers to your signup page on dl.bookfunnel.com, you can set up a custom domain and send them to books.yourauthordomain.com. You own the domain, and you control the links. BookFunnel is still doing the work under-the-covers, but readers see your domain at the top, not ours.
Since it is your domain, you can verify it with Facebook and run ads directly to your BookFunnel landing pages! We know a lot of you clever indies already found this and have been running ads to your custom domain for months, but for the authors that weren’t aware, Facebook changed up some of the ad rules and now you have to verify your domain with them before running ads. With BookFunnel custom domains, you can do just that.
Custom Domain Links
Once your custom domain is live on your BookFunnel dashboard, you can optionally create pretty custom domain links to share with readers. Instead of sending readers to books.yourname.com/u5bsjhr89v, send readers to books.yourname.com/exclusiveoffer! These pretty links can directly load one of your BookFunnel landing pages, or they can act as a link forwarder to any other website.
It all lives on your domain. With BookFunnel custom domains, you can take full control of your author brand. Have your readers go right to your domain while still using those easy, beautiful BookFunnel landing pages. We’ll handle the rest.
